Belek Turkey Swim With Dolphins Reviews Tips Warnings ;

Good, but busy, and inappropraite behaviour from staff
We went in August/September last year. We booked through out tour rep. It cost us around £50 for 4 people (two adults, and two kids - 8/14. We thought this was reasonable as it included lunch.

We arrived just before the park actually opened, despite being held up in a traffic jam. As a result, it was very crowded in the entrance area/changing rooms. We were told on the coach that younger children needed to wear a wristband to be allowed on some rides - when getting there the rep said she had ran out, so our youngest did not receive one. We were actually thankful for this, as there were no decent rides that wristbanded children were allowed on. I would advise taking a child's wristband off - espeically if you are supervising them.

The whole place was quite crowded, but not excessively, and it did seen reasonably clean. It was certainly cleaner that some of the UK indoor water parks we have been to!

The included lunch was limited in choice, but delicous.

Drinks were expensive, and we were annoyed to find that fizzy drinks were taken away on entering - although water could be kept. This could have been a problem, as one of our party doesn't drink water. Luckily we had heard about this on the coach, so poured lemonade into a water bottle - and got away with it!

Most of the rides needed rubber rings - there were plenty of sizes, so the kids didn't fall through, and the adults didn't get stuck. We didn't have too wait too long for them, as the lifeguards were good at taking them off people reserving several at a time. The variety of rides was good - gentle short ones, longer ones, fast ones, and the best black hole we have been in.

Our biggest complaint was the inappropriate behaviour of the lifeguards. My eldest daughter (and sometimes my youngest) were constantly whistled and shouted at. They allowed my eldest to queue jump (she wasn't complaining), and even took her on some of the rides, posing for photographs with her etc. Luckily she didn't find this offensive/worrying, but quieter, shy girls might.

All in all, this was a good day out. We thought it was reasonable considering the price. We are thinking about going this year, although it depends on how busy we think it may be, as we will be more in season.
