Land of Legends Turkey Aquapark Water Park Slides Aqua Park
Well it certainly looks impressive and based on what they've created it should be, but in reality this is not the case. If you are after a day of queuing for endless hours then this is the place created just for you.

On arrival we paid on the door which was more expensive than online, however their online booking system does not have an English version even though their sales website does.

Locker set up is neat and easy to use with the supplied wrist bands, but after that it is downhill quicker than their Challenger slide. Speaking of which within 15 minutes of being there we watched some poor guy fly out of that slide by aquaplaning at the end. He literally left the slide and skidded on his back on the ground, along the plastic drainage grids leaving blood in his wake. He was whisked off pretty quick by the lifeguards and luckily our kids did not see this, but plenty of others did.

Anyway we headed for the family raft ride and watched one of the most poorly managed queuing processes take place. Queuing in the right hand side 'as instructed', at one point we did not move for 15 minutes whilst people on the left moved at an astonishing rate in comparison. This didn't make sense as you could see people using the ride we were queuing for, so surely we should not be standing still right!

As we neared the top of the staircase it all made sense as the lifeguards managing the queuing 'system' were as effective as a pair of see through swim shorts!

The people using the left hand side clearly knew this and made the most of the opportunity whilst those on the right queued for literally hours. I complained to the lifeguard with the response ''we are busy'' to which I responded "well done, but I didn't pay to stand in queues that do not move"... meanwhile he let another group of people jump the queue, some of which had pretended to head up to the ride on the platform above and then back down to jump the queue (not for the first time I suspect) whilst those well behaved 'right handers' stood static... as did the miserable look on their faces.

So after over 90 mins we took the Magicone slide as we could not get to the family rafting one due to the re-introduction of a queuing system (deep breath!). Ride complete - it was not worth the wait.

The rest of the park did consist of queuing for fairly long periods of time, but not to such an extent and with a better level of planning and management, so most kept moving.

My suggestion is their management team takes a look at some more established water parks such as those in Florida etc., who clearly realise the overall experience is more than the actual sliding on slides!

We have no plans to head back there anytime soon, but for those of you that are... spend a bit of time in advance making your back as presentable as possible... someone's going to be spending a lot of time staring at it!
